Asus P5E64 WS Evolution
ASUS Company presented the motherboard P5E64 WS evolution. This new motherboard made on base of the newest chipset Intel x48. The basic difference between the X48 and X38 chipsets is with new technology X48 chipset supports higher front bus speed -1600 Mhz .
Major difference from other high performance motherboards is the amount of the PCIe x16 slots. Asus P5E64 WS Evolution was rewarded with four PCIe x16 slots which means that now we can plug in up to 4 PCI Express video cards and setup two paralel SLI outputs.
In addition to everything Asus P5E64 WS Evolution equipped with energy-economy technology EPU. Also AL gear3 support helps to decrease amount of energy which processor contributes. According to the testing this new technology amount was decreased by 80%.
