Company GELID Solutions officially unveiled the CPU cooler GX-7. The product was first demonstrated as early as during the CeBIT 2011, which took place in early spring, but only now is ready to go to the retail network around the world. To remove heat from the copper base GX-7 uses the once seven heat pipes, which, according to representatives of GELID, arranged so as to achieve maximum impact. Typically, heat pipes are arranged in one plane, which prevents efficient heat transfer. Engineers GELID placed tubes in two rows, the effectiveness of such solutions is proved illustration:
In addition to the original array of heat pipes, the radiator fan has a V-shaped fins that channel the air flow to places that are usually overlooked. The product is supplemented with a 120-mm fan on magnetic bearings Nanoflux. Magnetic mechanism virtually eliminates friction and the emergence of excess noise, in addition, the expected time between failures of the fan is 100 000 hours (11.5 years). The fan is easy to disassemble for cleaning of dirt, do not forget to GELID and lovers of spectacular things, providing a blue LED light blades. Construction GX-7 allows you to install a second fan of similar size, such a modification, according to official figures, will compete in the efficiency of the cooler with liquid cooling systems.
