EVGA introduced motherboards chipset Z68
Company EVGA (finally) announced several motherboards built on the chipset Z68. In the series of new products enrolled: Z68 FTW (EATX), Z68 SLI (ATX) and Z68 SLI Micro (micro-ATX).
All models use black and red color scheme, and working with processors LGA1155. Available are four slots for RAM DDR3-2133, two SATA 6.0 Gbps ports and four SATA 3.0 Gbps, support for SLI, and ligament CrossFireX, Gigabit Ethernet adapter (models with Z68 FTW Z68 SLI and they provide just two), 7.1 audio, eSATA, ports USB 3.0 (two in the model Z68 SLI Micro), as well as the Power button, Reset and reset the BIOS.
The flagship Z68 FTW motherboard boasts a 24-pin power connector, two 8-pin connectors for CPU, 12-phase Power Design, jumpers for lock slot PCIe, triple (!) BIOS, the port for flash cards and six slots PCI-Express x16 lines (model Z68 SLI has three PCIe x16, and the model Z68 SLI Micro – two).
Suggested retail price of the motherboard Z68 FTW is 264.99 dollars, and for a set in which there is also special software EVGauge (shows the frequency of the processor in real time) and ECP V4 (allows you to adjust the voltage and monitor the temperature) and you will be asked to 299.99 dollars.
Models Z68 SLI and Z68 SLI Micro prompted 209.99 dollars and 159.99 dollars respectively. At the time of writing this news the market could be found only model Z68 SLI.
