Intel announced new processors with low power consumption
Intel Corporation has expanded its line of microprocessors for portable computers in four models – Core i5-2557M, Core i7-2637M, Core i7-2677M and the Celeron 847.

Models Core i7-2637M and Core i7-2677M run at speeds respectively 1.7 and 1.8 GHz and equipped with 4MB of cache memory. The frequency of the CPU Core i5-2557M 1.7 GHz, cache size – 3 MB. Celeron 847 chip for these figures are 1.1 GHz and 2 MB.
In large wholesale shipments in quantities of 1 000 units Celeron processors 847, Core i5-2557M, i7-2637M and i7-2677M offered at a price of 134, 250, 289 and 317 dollars respectively.
