Intel Xeon 8 Core
Next week Intel will announce new 8 cores Xeon CPU. On the February 9 eight core Xeon will appear on the International Solid-State Circuits Conference.
This event will be one of the biggest in the technology news world. Intel does not know the name for the new processor except that it will be built on the 45nm technology as Core i7 processors and twice as faster. New CPU will be able support 16 program channels, two per each core.
There are no other details for this CPU but we know that this 8 core beast will have Nehalem architecture. Also there is a possibility that Intel will not announce this CPU on February 9 and only tell that they planning to put in production. However the new four cores Intel Xeon should appear the shelves in the beginning of this year.
