iPhone adds Traffic Reports app
Your iPhone can now provide free live traffic updates – for a few major North American cities. Checking out traffic in LA might make you feel better about your own jam.
The latest car gadget for the new iPhone is Mobileyes from 3rd Dimension. Unfortunately, just like other real-time traffic applications offered by car manufacturers via their satellite radio partnerships, such benefits are still out of reach for most Canadians. Currently, it only works in Detroit(which might be good for people in Windsor), Hartford, Houston, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Knoxville, Los Angeles, New York and Washington D.C. , but 3rd Dimensions Inc. says more cities will be added soon. Basically it provides stream video with latest traffic stats. best of all the application will not a thing, other then data time. Just go to your iTunes store and search under “traffic” at which you can access specific city feed. Even if you do not live in New York with this application you can check traffic stats anywhere in the world.
