New types and the HDMI logo
Adoption of HDMI specification version 1.4 has generated as many as five varieties of HDMI-cables, each with individual characteristics, parameters of compatibility and capacity. In order not to create confusion, have adopted new graphic symbols for each of the new types of cables.
