NVIDIA releases new line of mobile professional solutions
As we know, NVIDIA is releasing not only the gaming solutions. NVIDIA Quadro – professional solutions for working professionals with three-dimensional graphics. When we think about computers for such a serious work, it is something cumbersome and terribly powerful. As practice shows, professionals are needed not only the most powerful computers at home or at work – very often these people are looking in the direction of mobile solutions.
So-called mobile workstations – it is often one of the most powerful notebooks, where instead of powerful gaming graphics card is installed professional solutions, for example, NVIDIA Quadro FX. Recently, NVIDIA has announced the launch of a new, more effective line of professional graphics accelerators. Altogether, five mobile accelerators, Quadro FX, features which, for convenience of perception were consolidated into a single table.
As you can see, top-end solutions remain at the old time-tested nucleus, and major changes befallen the younger group presented. Quadro FX 1800M, Quadro FX 880M and Quadro FX 380M have support DirectX 10.1, which gives them a new built on 40 nm process chips NVIDIA, a kind of professional counterparts of conventional mobile graphics card GeForce GT 335M, GeForce GT 330M and GeForce GT 310M, respectively.
Various NVIDIA partners have already talked about the fact that they are ready to release its mobile workstations with new professional accelerators. Among the partners were HP, Dell, Lenovo and Fujitsu, a list of upcoming models is:
* Quadro FX 3800M -> Dell Precision M6500;
* Quadro FX 2800M -> Dell Precision M6500;
* Quadro FX 1800M -> HP EliteBook 8540w;
* Quadro FX 880M -> HP EliteBook 8540w, Lenovo ThinkPad W510, Fujitsu CELSIUS H700;
* Quadro FX 380M -> HP EliteBook 8440w.
New line of NVIDIA Quadro FX supports key technologies such as CUDA and 3D Vision, while remaining sufficiently cost-effective and highly efficient solutions. New products, obviously, interested in a certain circle of persons who require mobility for work and who are willing to lay out a considerable sum for the finished device.
