Samsung offers a line of external hard drives with USB 3.0
Samsung is equipping its line of external hard drives STORY Station speed interface USB 3.0. This solution will accelerate the transfer of data to the drive 10 times compared with the usual USB 2.0 and will not affect the design. SuperSpeed USB 3.0 interface provides maximum data transfer rate 5 Gbit / sec, compared with a 480 Mbps for USB 2.0.
Music file size of 4 MB can now be rewritten to the disk for 0.02 seconds, the movie format HD – for 2 minutes. The new interface is backward-compatible with USB 1.1 and 2.0.
The new drive Samsung STORY Station in versions 1, 1,5 and 2 TB will be available on the world market until the end of April. The cost of hard drives will still be refined.
